IIA Quality Assurance Reviews

The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) has recommended that all Internal Audit Groups have an independent Quality Assurance Review performed on them by January 2007 to conform to the Professional Practices Framework. PRA Group was formally accredited by the IIA to conduct Quality Assurance reviews in 2006. Three qualified assessors in Western Canada are professional staff of PRA Group. In addition to this assessment, PRA Group also had an independent Quality Assurance review conducted by members of the IIA's International Quality Assurance team on its compliance with the professional practices framework. PRA Group achieved the highest possible rating and based on its accredited assessor status and recent successful audit is in a unique position to assist other internal audit groups in preparing for an assessment or conducting an independent Quality Assurance review on those groups.
